Caption on the back of the photograph says: Film-Maker Missionary Begins Series Today. A former musical evangelist in New Orleans who has since made five separate trips to Africa, filming documentaries for his denomination and working with missionaries in building schools and missions, is back in the city to deliver a series of special addresses. He is the Rev. Ernie Eskelin, now based in St. Petersburg, Fla., who will speak Sunday at 7:30 p.m. at Lakeside Assembly of God Church, 132 Veterans hwy., on 'The Coming World Dictator,' and who will speak Monday at 7:30 p.m. at the church, showing some of his films made in the Dark Continent. Additionally, he will present a showing for men only Saturday at 7:30 p.m. of films of a safari, filmed near Mount Kilimanjaro and showing thousands of species of animals.

Photograph is stamped with a date of September 7, 1968.
