Description:	Materials are from 4 churches pastored by R. D. E. Smith. Primarily consists of bulletins and newsletters from these churches. These had been bound together in a scrapbook format. The binding was dismantled for preservation due to the condition of the materials. The collection includes the original items and photocopies of each document. Folder 1: Bulletins from Full Gospel Tabernacle (Bakersfield, CA), later First Assembly of God, Nov. 1, 1936-Dec. 27, 1936. Folder 2: Items from Gospel Tabernacle (Coquille, OR): Bulletin from 1937; Bulletins from 1940; 3 issues of Sunday School Extra (Sept-Dec 1937); VBS announcement (1938). Folder 3: Gospel Herald, a publication of the Sunday School of Brainerd (MN) Gospel Tabernacle; 1:1 (Feb 1941)-1:4 (May 1941). It is unknown if this publication continued beyond these 4 issues. Folder 4: Brainerd (MN) Gospel Tabernacle, assorted Bulletins, Dec 1940-Dec 1941. Includes announcement and program for Northern Minnesota fall convention, Oct 1941. Folder 5: Brainerd (MN) Gospel Tabernacle, 1942-1943: (1) assorted Bulletins, 1942; (2) Issues of 'The Gospel Tabernacle News-letter' (first issue Feb 24, 1943; 2 other issues follow in 1943; This would develop into a more regular publication, 'Service Men's News Letter,' in 1944); (3) Song: 'Theme for the Ninety and Nine Men's Bible Class,' composed by Smith; (4) Miscellaneous announcements. Folder 6: Brainerd (MN) Gospel Tabernacle, 1944: (1) Service Men's News Letter (6 issues); (2) assorted Bulletins; (3) Miscellaneous announcements. Folder 7: Brainerd (MN) Gospel Tabernacle, 1945: (1) Service Men's News Letter (3 issues); Gospel Tabernacle Newsletter (5 issues); (3) Miscellaneous announcements. Folder 8: Various church flyers (1948, 1950) from Calvary Gospel Tabernacle (Jamaica, NY).
