Theological Centre for Asia was founded in 1979 by Trinity Christian Centre, a Pentecostal congregation in Singapore pastored by Naomi Dowdy. In 1998, a branch was started in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia, known as Theological Centre for Asia (Malaysia) and later as TCA College (Malaysia). The original location became Theological Centre for Asia (Singapore), which then became TCA College (Singapore). The Malaysia branch became a separate institution and took the name Alpha Omega International College in 2008. Thereafter, the Singapore branch became known simply as TCA College.
