Description:

Copies of original handwritten or typed correspondence between Smith Wigglesworth and Frank Wilson. Frank Wilson was an early Pentecostal Assemblies of God leader in New Zealand. Reportedly, he was the driver for Smith Wigglesworth while Smith was in New Zealand (1923-24). After some years of involvement in the Assemblies of God, Frank became involved in establishing what has become the Christian Covenant Churches of New Zealand.
The first two letters are from Frank Wilson to Smith Wigglesworth, dated 18 Sep 1939 and 11 May 1944. The next four letters are from Smith Wigglesworth to Frank Wilson. They are dated 2 Dec 1938, 18 Nov. 1939, 10 Aug and 9 Dec 1946. There is also a letter addressed to Smith Wigglesworth's daughter and son-in-law mentioning the death of Frank Wilson and his strong feeling for Smith Wigglesworth. That letter is dated 8 Aug 1949.
