A/G appointed missionary who served from 1940-1950 in the Philippines and China. She was among those interned in a Japanese prison camp in the Philippines during World War II. After returning to the States, she worked with Native Americans in Arizona until her retirement. She passed away Apr 26, 2001.
Contents: This folder contains miscellaneous dated scraps of paper on which Doris records her thoughts. Some of them appear to have been written during the time of her internment in the Japanese prison camp. The file also includes some tracts containing poems collected by Miss Carlson. One letter, written to friends in 1931, gives her testimony and experience of her baptism in the Holy Spirit.
