Description:

Gospel Workers of America was organized in 1894 in Elgin, Pennsylvania. It was initially a Wesleyan Holiness organziation and its leaders included Newton L. A. Eastman and L. T. Calkins. The headquarters moved to Rochester, New York, in 1898. Eastman and the Gospel Workers of America identified with the Pentecostal movement, circa 1906-1914.
