Ulysses Samuel Taylor (1880?- ) spent 23 years in prison. He was convicted in 1918 of conspiracy to commit murder with Mattie Howard. Howard later converted to Christ and became an evangelist. Taylor also converted to Christ while in prison in the 1920s or early 1930s. He was released from prison in November 1933 and began traveling as an evangelist in February 1934. According to an article in the Wilmington (DE) Morning News, Oct 6, 1936, he was a member of Full Gospel Mission Tabernacle (Tulsa, OK).
