The correspondences and ordained/licensed ministers lists in folder (1 of 4) are from 1971, which was before the Pacific Latin American District Council became official. Therefore, these materials are more accurately attributed to the Latin American District Council. Interestingly, these materials read, "Latin American Pacific District." This seems to be an unoffical transitory name for the Latin American District before becoming the Pacific Latin American District.

This district was formed out of the Latin American District in 1972. It included California, Arizona, Washington, Oregon, Nevada, and Hawaii. Jose Giron had been superintendent of the Latin American District since 1959. This district divided into the Northern Pacific Latin American District and the Southern Pacific Latin American District on November 1, 1998.

These files include: ordained and licensed ministers lists for the Latin American District; ordained and licensed ministers lists for the Latin American Pacific District; and a list of affiliated assemblies and their pastors; a resolution adopted in 1971; 1984 resolution of the District’s Executive Presbytery; a list of ministers who have not renewed 1975; lists of unrenewed licensed and specialized licensed ministers; lists of ordained and licensed undesignated seniors; a blank reinstatement application for ordained ministers; a New Church Opened form for the Latin American District, for Evangelical Christian Church A/G (Colusa, CA); a program for the retirement banquet honoring Jose Giron and Ruth Giron; a program for the installment service at Palm View Assembly of God Church (Whitter, CA).

These files also include: a photograph of the Executive Presbytery of the Pacific Latin American District 1985; a certificate of ordination for Xavier Jimenez Gutierrez by Bethel Full Gospel Church in cooperation with Fellowship of Christian Assemblies; a proposal resolution 1992 to divide the Pacific Latin American District into two districts; 1992 resolution passed by the Executive Presbytery, concerning educational requirements for credentials; a rough draft proposed resolution 1994, concerning District intervention policy for local churches; The New Thrust: Decade of Harvest; Dilemma Anglo District Establish New Churches & Section by Samuel D.
