The author's findings show that 'less than 3% of our churches appear to be above average when I looked at the values of (a) Sunday morning growth, (b) water baptisms, (c) Spirit baptisms, (d) small group participation and (e) conversions. In essence, I found that some churches have a few good performance variables as the five noted, but virtually none of our churches are focused on an inclusive picture of transformation.'
