Yearbooks.

Yearbooks contain constitution and by-laws, District Council minutes, ministerial directories, church directories, and annual reports. However, the contents of yearbooks are inconsistent, and may lack some of these elements. As a result, some of these elements may also have their own archive record.

In 1923 the Appalachian District was known as the Southwest Virginia, Western West Virginia, and Eastern Kentucky District. In 1929 the name was changed to the Appalachian District Council. In August 1935 Kentucky withdrew and became its own district.
