Klaude Kendrick, 1917-2010. Ordained AG minister and educator. He served as president of Evangel University (1955-1958), Southwestern AG University, (1960-1964), and Far East Advanced School of Theology (1984-1986). In addition to these administrative positions, Kendrick also served on staff at Southwestern (1940-1955), Evangel College (1958-1960), Texas Wesleyan College (1964-1977), and Southern California College (1977-79). He pastored in the state of Texas (1938-1940) and served on the presbytery of N. TX Dist. He was the author of The Promise Fulfilled: A History of the Modern Pentecostal Movement, a book based on his doctoral dissertation, as well as numerous articles in various publications.
This collection includes files Kendrick used in preparation for his doctoral dissertation and the subsequent book, The Promise Fulfilled. Materials have been placed in archival folders with original folder titles preserved.
