Robert C. McQuilkin was the founding president of Columbia Bible College (Columbia, SC), a non-Pentecostal Keswick school.
This correspondence between Riggs and McQuilkin consists chiefly of a dialog about the doctrine of speaking in tongues as the initial physical evidence of Spirit baptism.
Included with the correspondence are two additional items: 1) a sermon 'Will revival come before Christ's return?' / Robert C. McQuilkin, published in the May 1940 issue of Messages and News (Columbia Bible College); 2) a notice of Dr. McQuilkin's death on July 15, 1952.
