Description:

Foreword by Robert J. Balfour
Marius Nel is a minister and educator in the Apostolic Faith Mission of South Africa.
Nel argues (in Research Justification) that 'even if the Bible provides a single voice in condemnation of LGBTIQ+ sexual behaviour (which I am not sure it does), an African Pentecostal hermeneutics defines Spirit-filled Christians' as well as the church's attitude toward such people on other grounds.' He goes on to state that Pentecostals should view LGBTIQ+ people through the lens of love rather than condemnation, and that Pentecostals overlook other practices seemingly proscribed by scripture, such as women ministers and pacifism.
