Description:

Herbert George Wood began serving as pastor of Full Gospel Mission (Union Beach, NJ), an AG congregation, in about 1935. The congregation changed its name to Union Beach Pentecostal Church in about 1946 and affiliated with the International Pentecostal Assemblies in 1948. Wood died in 1955 and his widow, Isabelle Hedley Wood, served as pastor from 1955 until 2001. In 1976, the IPA merged with the Pentecostal Church of Christ and became the International Pentecostal Church of Christ. The congregation later changed its name to Faith Chapel.
