She was dean of women at Southwestern Assemblies of God College at Waxahachie, Texas, for 10 years. She was an early member of First Assembly of God in Dallas, Texas, originally located at Peak and Garland. She tells of her baptism in the Holy Spirit, Smith Wigglesworth in Dallas, and discusses former pastors Albert Ott, Loren Staats, Bracy Greer, E. E. Krogstad, etc. She is the mother-in-law of Edgar H. Palser, the current pastor of First Assembly in Dallas, Texas.
