Gospel musician Lillie Knauls was raised in the Church of God in Christ in Seattle. While living in San Jose, California, in the 1970s, she became active at Bethel Church (AG) and became a noted recording artist. In 1984, she moved to Hawaii, where she was active at First AG in Honolulu. From 1994 until 2000, she was on the ministry team of Benny Hinn. She ministered in song at five AG General Council meetings. She moved to California in 2000 and continued to minister in music.
