Bethel Bible Institute (BBI) was first opened in Baguio City, Philippines in 1941. When World War II broke out, the school was closed. Under the leadership of Rev. Rudy C. Esperanza, BBI was reopened in 1946 in Pozorrubio, Pangasinan, Philippines. It was moved to its present location at Malinta, Valenzuela, Bulacan after two years. Valenzuela City is located just north of the city of Manila.

The 1964 yearbook is filled with signatures.

Bethel Bible Institute became Bethel Bible College in 1985.
