The Pentecostal Evangel (September 20, 1947) reports that the Assemblies of God Educational Department, under the direction of Ralph M. Riggs, recommended that Ministers' Study conferences (2-week Bible schools) be conducted in and by the Districts for the benefit of ministers and their wives. Pastoral Theology was one of the recommended studies.
