Russian Missionary Society (Chicago, IL) was established in 1917 by William Fetler, a graduate of Spurgeon's College who was deeply impacted by the Welsh Revival and also identified with the Pentecostal movement. He was both Baptist and Pentecostal and established churches in St. Petersburg, Russia, and Riga, Latvia. He was exiled from the Russian Empire in 1914.
