Irene Genevieve White (1897-1983) became active in the Pentecostal movement in Boise, Idaho in the 1920s under the ministry of evangelist Mattie Crawford. Participants in the Crawford revival formed a women's prayer group, led by White, that disbanded in 2003 upon the death of White's daughter, Genevieve Lidgard Cooper (1916-2003).
