Caption on back of photo: 'Aimee Semple McPherson Hutton, evangelist, who is reported critically ill, with two physicians differieng in their diagnosis of her condition. She was removed from the Ocean Park Hotel in Los Angeles to a sanitarium on a stretcher. Dr. Edward C. McKensie reported to the city health department that the evangelist was suffering from neurasthenia. Her husband, David Hutton, has been refused permission to see her on account of her condition.'
