Description:

Frank E. Edwards served as a Pentecostal missionary in Hawaii, circa 1925-1942. He founded Calvary Mission (Aala Park, Honolulu) in 1925 and also served as a chaplain at the Leper Hospital (Kalihi, Honolulu) and at the Oahu Prison (Honolulu). His wife, Lilian M. Edwards, accompanied him in ministry. Some evidence indicates that Frank Edwards was previously a stage actor in Hollywood (under the names Nat Clifford and Frank Terry), appearing with Laurel and Hardy and The Three Stooges.
