Jim Campbell (lead) and Ernest Holbrook (baritone) were Assemblies of God pastors. Jessie Barlow (tenor) also attended an AG church. Joe Hart (bass) and Chuck McIntosh (piano) were Baptists.

There is a discrepancy between the record label and the jacket. The jacket switches list of songs for each side compared to the disc.

This is not the same group as the Songsmen Quartet from Paragould, AR.
