Description:	The 1971 emphasis, 'Take the Word,' supplied the impetus for exploring the possibility for production of a national TV special or for a series of TV programs. This committee was launched to study the possibilities and report the findings to the Committee on Mission. Committee members: 1970--Lee Shultz, chairman; Dave Womack; Warren McPherson; Jerry Sandidge Contents: This file contains the original memo for the formation of such a committee (June 15, 1970). However, the actual progress report was made to the Executive Presbyters in June 1974 ( Research and development committee, James Hamill, chairman).
