Description:	Foreword by Paul F. Beacham O. Talmadge Spence (1926-2000), the son of Pentecostal Holiness Church Bishop H. Talmadge Spence, was a Pentecostal Holiness Church minister and a teacher at Holmes Theological Seminary (Greenville, SC). He served as founding president of Heritage Bible College (Dunn, NC), a Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church school, from 1971 until 1974, when he separated from the Pentecostal movement and established a fundamentalist school, Foundations Bible College (Dunn, NC). Spence was a critic of what he perceived as doctrinal and ethical compromises that crept into Pentecostalism, in part, through the charismatic movement and ecumenism.
