Capt. L. H. Tuttle was a close associate of Charles F. Parham and wrote the preface to Charles Parham's A voice crying in the wilderness. He also helped to dedicate Parham's Bible school in Topeka. Charles Parham performed the wedding in November 1896 for Tuttle's daughter, Florence, who married Gideon Anderson.
