William G. Schell was a minister in the Church of God (Anderson, IN). He later joined the Assemblies of God.
Father Charles E. Coughlin (1891-1979), a Catholic priest, had a popular radio show from 1926 to 1940 on which he addressed many political and social issues. In 1934, Coughlin established a political organization called the National Union for Social Justice. Its platform called for monetary reforms, nationalization of major industries and railroads, and protection of labor rights. In this book, William G. Schell refutes Coughlin's 16-point platform for the National Union for Social Justice.
