Description:

John B. McMath Sr. was a Dallas, Texas business man and early Pentecostal in Dallas. He created the Mobil Oil symbol--the flying red pegasus. Several letters in this file have to do with a controversy in Dallas, Texas between two congregations , one of which was Foursquare Gospel Lighthouse and the other possibly being what eventually became Dallas First Assembly of God. Another letter is written by Mother Kennedy (mother of Aimee Semple McPherson) with comments about her daughter.
Contents: several letters concerning the controversy. -- Official program of the Seventh annual convention Foursquare, Jan. 2-12, 1930. --
