Recollections of her life and ministry in the Pentecostal movement. She was the daughter of Elmer Fisher, who was pastor of the Upper Room Mission in Los Angeles, which was close to the Azusa Street Mission. Her first husband was Wesley Steelberg, who was a general superintendent of the Assemblies of God and who passed away in Cardiff, Wales, with a heart attack in 1952. Her second husband was Howard Carter, who was the general superintendent of the Assemblies of God in Great Britain. Howard Carter moved to Springfield, Missouri, after he married the former Mrs. Steelberg.
