George O. Wood, senior pastor of Newport Mesa Christian Center, Costa Mesa, California, interviews his mother, A. Elizabeth (Weidman) Wood, on Mother's Day, concerning her first missionary journey to China. She sailed to China from Vancouver, British Columbia on September 24, 1924, with her sister Ruth Weidman. The interview covers her missionary work through 1935. He also preaches a message a Mother's Day message on the virtuous woman.
