Caption on the back of the photo: 'BROADWAY ANGEL TO GOSPELIZE ALONE.' LOS ANGELES CALIF: - Garbed in grey satin and a crimson scarf, Rheba Crawford, 'Angel of Broadway', evangelist, former associate pastor of Aimee McPherson's Angelus Temple, is shown as she embarked along on a new career of soul searching, as she opened her own church in Los Angeles, titled the 'International Interdenominal Church.' In her first sermon she promised 'aggressive community service,' made no mention of her troubles with the Angelus Temple exhorter, which ended in Rheba's filing of a $1,080,000 [lawsuit] _____ [bottom part missing].

Rheba Crawford, a onetime associate of Aimee Semple McPherson at Angelus Temple, served also with the Salvation Army, the Congregational Church, and with the North China Mission of the Southern Baptist Convention.
