This committee was formed in response to a letter which General Superintendent Thomas F. Zimmerman had received from J.E. Wallace Sterling, Chairman of the American Revolution Bicentennial Commission, Washington, DC. In that letter Mr. Sterling shared President Richard Nixon's desire that the Americans should be reminded of the 'spiritual quality that our Nation has had since its birth and somewhere along the line many of us perhaps have forgotten.'
Contents: Committee minutes: Mar 25, 1970 (4 p.); Mar 31 (3 p.); Apr 2 (6 p.). -- The compilation of the committee's suggestions were sent by T.F. Zimmerman to J.E. Wallace Sterling (7 p.).
