Description:
|
The Old Testament in the Moore language was multigraphed and distributed book by book (circa 1930s-1960) so corrections could be made before the final draft. For many years the Mossi had to use a knapsack to carry their Bible [jfh]. Eventually the United Bible Societies in England printed the whole Bible on thin paper [196?]. Translators included AG missionaries Arthur E. and Elizabeth Wilson, John F. and Cuba Hall, and Eva Radanovsky.
This copy is a collection of the original sections sewn together (7 cm. thick) and covered with a hand-sewn leather cover. Some pages have notes written on them. File also includes a second smaller hand-sewn volume, containing an incomplete collection of Old Testament booklets, often in better condition than in the larger volume.
