Gary and Glenna Flokstra served as Assemblies of God missionaries for 20 years. Gary and Glenna started as MAPS workers assigned to the library at Continental Bible College (Brussels, Belgium). Gary was Library Director at Asia Pacific Theological Seminary (Baguio City, Philippines) from 1985 to 1996. Glenna was periodicals librarian during that time. During 1996-97 Gary worked as Head Librarian at Global University (Irving, TX). He ministered as a library consultant of Africa Library Services (ALSO) (Springfield, MO) and was later appointed as director (1997-2003). At that time, ALSO resourced Bible college libraries in Africa, Asia, and Europe. In 2003, Gary and Glenna established 4 the World Resource Distributors (Springfield, MO), a nonprofit which resources Bible college libraries worldwide.
