Description:	This letter was written to correct a statement which appeared in Dr. Gary B. McGee's book, People of the Spirit, concerning the Northern California-Nevada District's refusal to grant ministerial license to Bob Harrison. It is William Vickery's contention that the credentials were refused on the grounds that it was not 'the policy of our denomination to grant credentials to Negroes.' The file contains Vickery's letter, a copy of a 1957 letter to Bob Harrison, and an excerpt from the N. CA-NV District presbyters minutes, June 21, 1962.
